On the background of international education market, many western countries especially US and UK take education as nation developing strategy plan, spread education brand strategy for the global resources. With the increasing openness of education market in China, the emergence of diverse forms of school and an increasingly competitive education market, colleges and universities have a clear understanding that we should establish brand awareness, gradually formed its own distinctive brand in order to enhance the international competitiveness.Visual communication design has become the mainstream of modern communication, and also a powerful tool for business communication. As the market continues improving, visual design has extensive application for modern marketing, visual image of the brand image become an important component operation, the same brand is also the spread of education served as the main task. As a promotion brand of the education, the visual identification system based on visual communication design, educational institutions and the overall image of the most important component part of the dissemination of campus culture, create an important foundation for education. On the one hand it is beneficial to students, alumni and the public perception, memory and identity, on the other hand it also enhanced students, alumni of the self-confidence, pride and play a good role in promoting cohesion.Faced with a corresponding reduction in scale and funding of the case in education area, how to play the brand potential of resources, extending its life, make sustainable development and better use of brand value to create the maximum benefit for the school, which requires the brand to grow and develop. The development of "seeks common ground while maintaining difference," not only has research value in education and marketing, but also has far-reaching significant for visual design.On the background of international market, visual communication design changed from the previous plane of morphological and static dynamic to the direction of a comprehensive. As people focus on the ecological environment and global environmental protection, visual communication design should conform to international environmental protection trend, and develop to network-based digital media. In the future, digital media will play a greater role in communication design and education brand.
