This thesis is written to analyze the advantages,disadvantages,significance and development trend of VID(visual identity design)used in exhibitions through the investigation into the practical use of VID in modern exhibitions of various brands,and then to elaborate on the relationship between VID and brand exhibitions.From the aspect of application of VID in present brand exhibitions,a number of excellent theories,methods and principles of VID that could be applied in exhibitions would be concluded,which is beneficial for exhibitors to spread the information and for visitors to it.Study in this field is also helpful for strengthening the influence and position of our domestic brand exhibitions and for improving the soft power of our brands in the international competition.As an essential part in the economic development strategies,the VID is widely accepted,which is applied in the image visual design system of corporations nowadays.This thesis is,therefore,aimed at collecting the past materials and present development of VID in practice from the outstanding brand exhibitions home and abroad,which would be analyzed from different aspects,and then to point out the problems and weaknesses that the modern Chinese brands are faced with in exhibitions.Further more,the corresponding strategies will be put forward,for the promotion of VID products to realize the ideal results in the future brand exhibitions,to improve the overall influence of up-to-date brand exhibitions,and to build a brand image of deep international influence for modern exhibitions in China.
