Lanzhou is a cultural city which have two thousand years of history.City is located on the intersection of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, Inner Mongolia Plateau, the Loess Plateau.Lanzhou is the middle place between north and south in China, on the key point from East and West.For it's special geographical position, it takes the function of communicating East and West of China; isolating Rong and the Qiang; linking the west part with east part which is famous with agriculture in the history. Yellow River traverses the city, so ferry and military fort is the first functions of the city. Ming dynasty is a turning point of the city. After the Su Zhuang Prince had moved to Lanzhou in early Ming dynasty, the city started developing very quickly. Keeping the functions of ferry and military fort,in Ming dynasty this city developed itself in economic ,religion and cultural field. And became a so important place in politics, economy, military, cultural in west of China.This paper firstly introduced the natural environment and history of Lanzhou executive Organizational change.Second is a detailed description of the military fort and the surrounding facilities of Lanzhou city in Ming Dynasty . And then described the main building, the road and how those building have been arranged in the city.In additional, introduced the Su Wang who is very influnced people in the very city.According to local chronicles and historical documents trying to rebuild the whole city of Lanzhou in the Ming Dynasty .
