Efficient practice in classroom, as a learning method of the Reform of the New Curriculum, can be drawn into and studied in the teaching of chemistry in middle schools, which has very significant theoretical and practical value. On the one hand, the study of efficient practice in classroom in the New Chemistry Curriculum in middle schools is further development of effective learning theory. On the other hand, efficient practice in the teaching process, under the guide of efficient practice theory, can not only lessen the students'burden, but also bring about a great improvement of teaching quality, develop the ability of their lifelong learning and of their creative thinking fully, and enhance the scientific accomplishment. Therefore, it can contribute to the implementation of the New Curriculum for Chemistry and give impetus to quality education in an all-round way. The paper, based on the thorough study and comprehension of cognitive theory and motive theory of psychology, emotional teaching and the theory of the best opportunity of teaching and learning, and the works of educational teaching concerned, according to teaching practice, interviews, questionnaires and comments from the peers, gives a detailed analysis of characteristics and objectives of the New Curriculum for Chemistry and puts forward the principles of efficient practice of chemistry, tactics and objectives, which efficient practice chemistry will achieve, and also offers reference to the implementation of the efficient practice.
