With the installation and development of the class reform, establishment of the evaluation system that fits the new courses has become almost essential. The renovation of the educational evaluation system, especially the system for classes has become an important issue for all the people working in different realms of education system. This thesis is in line with the developmental idealism of the course reform and is in combination with the characteristics of the class of ideologies and politics. It is based on my years of fieldwork and is an in depth study of educational class evaluation. The thesis is divided into four sections:Chapter 1 Introduction. It covers the origins of the problems, the current situation of the field, the significance, methods and theoretical basis for establishment of the developmental evaluation system. Chapter 2. It analyzes the theories and characteristics of the developmental educational evaluation systems, compares the developmental class evaluation system with the traditional system, and lays out the advantages of the new system. It also covers the significance of the developmental evaluation for the class of ideologies and politics. Chapter 3. Based on the feedbacks from the questionnaires I sent out, in person discussion and other approaches, I analyze the current situation of the evaluation system for ideologies and politics education, the achievement and the existing problems. Chapter 4. It focuses on the existing problems of the evaluation system and shows the results of a few trials on solving the problems. It also proposes the reorganization principles for the evaluation system with the new course and the evaluation standards that may fit the new course. Finally, it also discusses the application of the new evaluation system. This is the core chapter of the whole thesis.The work presented in this thesis should help the teachers in the field of ideologies and politics education during the application of the evaluation system for the new course. Hopefully it will also add on to the theories and applications of the class evaluation system for the other fields.
