Since the new curriculum standard of education in ideology and politics promulgated in 2004, the curriculum reform has been continuously deepening. In 2014, Ministry of Education promulgated the related opinions of comprehensively deepening reform, emphasizing on organizing and studying the core quality system of students from all grades and disciplines which includes personal cultivation, care of society and country, which means a new round of curriculum reform has begun. It is imperative to establish the core quality of ideology and politics of senior high school and the establishment of the curriculum evaluation mechanism for improving students' quality development is about to come true. As an indispensable part of the curriculum evaluation of senior high school ideology and politics, the classroom evaluation of senior high school ideology and politics is closely related to teaching and studying and also a key position of implementing the curriculum reform and developing students' core quality.This paper makes systemically definition and elaboration of relevant conception and characteristics on effectiveness of the classroom evaluation of senior high school ideology and politics by literature research, observation and interview and case analysis. Through classroom observation and interview, the author knows the truth about the classroom evaluation of ideology and politics and elaborates the existent problems from three aspects, such as evaluation objectives, evaluation methods and evaluation results. These problems result in the ineffectiveness of the classroom evaluation of senior high school ideology and politics and then the author probes into reasons of them from the general social background. In consideration of the existent problems in the classroom evaluation of senior high school ideology and politics, the author probes into the way of effectiveness of the classroom evaluation and carries out a feasible way of effectiveness from evaluation objectives, evaluation methods and handling of evaluation results, trying to improve students' ideological and political qualities by the implementation of effectiveness of the classroom evaluation of senior high school ideology and politics.
