Students asking questions is a common teaching phenomenon, important generative teaching conditions and crucial means through which teachers and students can talk, interact, and communicate. Current academic research mainly focuses on the following aspects:the motivation of students asking questions, its categories, the function or value of students asking questions, the factors affecting it and the strategies to inspire the students to ask questions. The purpose of the research is to foster the students' willingness and ability to raise more questions.Theoretically speaking, with the strengthening of the students'problem awareness, the phenomenon of students raising questions will happen more frequently, thus affecting the teacher, students, textbooks and the way of teaching more profoundly. In teaching, once new problems appears, new measures should be taken, and research perspective should be adjusted. Actually, many teachers want but fear the students raising questions, because they are afraid that the questions will disrupt class, waste time and will embarrass themselves. With this background this thesis brings forth the ideology of "instruction based on students raising questions", but not "only for students raising questions", rather emphasize the study "centering around and taking advantage of students raising questions" both in theory and practice.Based on the subject of history in Junior high school this paper contains a preliminary study on how to operate "instruction based on students raising questions " before class and in class, its problems and the strategy to cope with them. Undoubtedly the instruction should be based on students raising questions, which doesn't mean completely centering on students. This is because the teacher guides the students raising questions, they can direct, embellish and integrate these questions. In this way, the students and the teacher influence each other, it is the unification of student centeredness and teacher centeredness, reflecting a teacher-led and student-centered class method and realizing the transformation between the teaching method and the way students learn. It cannot be denied that "instruction based on students raising questions " is a new concept, a complete understanding of it needs time and its implementation confronts with many problems in practice. To name just a few problems:The students analytical ability remains weak. In china's teaching environment, teachers'dignity and students'personal dependence are highlighted. In teaching method imparting knowledge is the main strategy and the teacher-centered class still dominates. Therefore, from a short-range perspective, the study and practice of "instruction based on students question--raising" is very disappointing, but in the long term, this approach will take root and the results will be satisfactory.
