The practice teaching has been a weak link in the teaching, especially since the popularization of higher education, the community's voices about poor practical ability of college students which is getting more and more loudly has caused the Ministry of Education and other relevant departments attach great importance. Ministry of Education has issued a series of documents to improve undergraduate teaching quality in which propose explicitly such as"we must vigorously strengthen the practice teaching, improve practice ability of college students effectively"and so on.Huazhong University of Science and Technology actively implement a series of measures such as the"the quality project","the new century teaching reform project"to improve the undergraduate teaching quality in recent years. In order to know the quality of undergraduate teaching of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the topic-based group carried the questionnaire survey, the result shows that students are satisfied with the quality of teaching, compared to such as teachers, teaching facilities and teaching management and other indicators, students'satisfaction degree for practice teaching is relatively low, therefore this research uses the interview method to conduct the deep research to the engineering undergraduate practice teaching present situation of Huazhong University of Science and Technology.In this study, firstly I make understanding and analysis to practice teaching's text as well as the policy of our university, then outline list compendium of interview according to our practice teaching involving aspects such as experiment, practice, design and so on, interview students participating practice teaching directly. I know that our college makes some achievements in practice teaching, such as our students win awards repeatedly at all levels competition through the text. Through the collation and coding analysis about interviews information, I come up the following conclusions: students are satisfied about the practice teaching basically and relatively satisfied about practice conditions and the design link, but at the same time, there are some problems. The more prominent issue is reflected in the out-of-school internships, students believe that it is just a form and the time is short, opportunities is relatively less and so on. This research conducts and studies the discovered question, summarizes the cause of the problem which is such as the concept of practice teaching, not enough combination of Produce, study and research, the low proportion of the practice of teaching, and practice teaching method solely concrete question and so on, finally attempts to put forward the corresponding proposal to these problems.
