Studies On The Undergraduate Teaching Quality Assurance System Of Research Universities

With the extraordinary development of higher education in china, the higher education of China has entered to popolarization stage. In the transition phase of higher education from elite education to mass education ,the quality of higher education teaching, especially the quality of undergraduate teaching aroused widespread concern in society as a whole.Research universities play an important role in building an innovation-oriented country .Since the 90's, research universities of our country have been expanding, the contradiction of quantity and quality is increasingly prominent, and the quality of teaching has become a hot spot of concern to society in general. Research universities play a leading and exemplary role in higher education system. To protect the undergraduate teaching quality of research universities is beneficial to enhance the overall level of China's higher education.The implementation of Teaching Quality Assurance System in the research universities can effectively improve the quality of undergraduate teaching.In this paper, drawing on higher education, management and total quality management theory,a comprehensive study of the use of literature, comparative studies and case studies and other methods to try to construct undergraduate teaching quality assurance system of research universities. First of all, discuss the quality of undergraduate teaching of the current situation and problems of the research universities in our country. Secondly, a comparative analysis of the United States, Europe and other developed countries in the research universities to enhance the quality of undergraduate teaching of the measures taken and the enlightenment of our country. Finally, building the quality assurance system of undergraduate teaching for research universities. At the same time, taking Huazhong University of Science and Technology as a typical case, the paper conducted a deep probe into their undergraduate teaching system of quality assurance, for the hope of offering some positive assistance to the establishment of undergraduate teaching quality assurance system of research universities.
