In today’s basic education reform practice, increasingly protruding reveals the dominant status of biological science. As quality education of the layers of deepening, the current high school biology curriculum reform is to longitudinal, deep direction development, pay attention to from high school students psychological development on the features of the textbook arrangement. Among them, the new edition in the textbook experiment part, but also more and more adapted to the high school students cognitive law of development.High school is to point to from14,15to17,18years old this age stage, known as the school late or early youth. High school stage is the physiological, psychological development close to maturity, ready to live an independent life period. They are filled with youthful vigor and vitality, positive and upward, enthusiastic, bold and unrestrained, they are the backbone of the country, is the future of our motherland. The traditional high school biology education not fully considering the high school students cognitive development characteristics, therefore no longer fit today’s class.《The high school biology course standard (experiment draft)》 explicitly pointed out, the high school biology course core task is to improve each high school students of biological science literacy. Biological subject is an experimental science, which require in the subject teaching, creating all kinds of problem situations, guide students to independent, the inquisition, the cooperation type teaching mode for learning.Based on the study of domestic and foreign education reform is described on the basis of high school students cognitive characteristic and inquiry test’s concept, the characteristic, the implementation method, etc.; And on the cognitive-structure learning theory, constructivism learning theory and humanistic learning theory, psychology and education psychology knowledge as the guidance, consult, reference to a mass of literature material, determine the research of this topic scheme and method. Based on the investigation of teachers and students, understand the high school biology experiment teaching actual implementation and found the problems and reasons. Through the interview students, I found that:compared with the traditional biological experiment teaching and inquiry biological experiment teaching can inspire students’ interest, to inspire students’ independent thinking, develop the students’ logical thinking ability, which can cultivate students’ innovation ability and exploration spirit, promote the student to the understanding of knowledge. Biological teachers use inquiry experiment teaching, according to the actual situation of the students of the agile of the specific guidance, favorable to students’ individual character development and the improvement of main body status.
