The Space And Time Evolution Analysis Of Population Growth And Distribution In Shanxi Since The Founding Of The Nation

Since the founding of PR China, the population growth and distribution in Shanxi province have changed greatly in both time and space with the economic development and the improving living standard of people. It is meaningful to do deep research on the rationalization of population growth and distribution in Shanxi province, the relationship on the population growth and distribution in Shanxi province and reasonable allocation of labor force resources of population and industrial layout optimization to correctly understand the space-time evolvement process characteristics of population increase and distribution.Herein, based on the fundamental theory of population geography, starting with the problem of space-time distribution in Shanxin province, the paper systematically studies the space-time evolvement process characteristics population growth and distribution in Shanxi province by adopting the research methods of empirical analysis, quantitative research, cartographic analysis and the like.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction. It contains a main introduction of research background and significance, and sums up domestic and international research on population geography. It also introduces the regional overview and research ideas of this article.The second part is some theoretical basis. It describes correlation theory of population growth and distribution, which provides theoretical support for the following research.The third part is the main part of the article. It uses census data, Statistical Yearbook of some years and relative data of the National Economic and Social Development of 11 cities to make a systematic study for the characteristic of population growth and distribution since the founding of Shanxi Province. For the changes of population growth, the paper goes on in five stages and analyses the reason of its formation; and for the regional differences of population growth and distribution, the paper gives quantitative analysis on the basis of qualitative analysis so as to make more convincing conclusion.The fourth part is a conclusion, and also has suggestions of further study. It sums up the time and space characteristic of population growth and distribution of Shanxi in the 60 years. What's more, it puts forward reasonable proposal according to present characteristic of Shanxi province.
