Along with the implementation of the strategy that bringing in and going out Chinese enterprises that participating in international economic competition and cooperation have a more solid platform and vast world. At the same time, it also requires Chinese enterprises, especially foreign trade enterprises and companies to improve their management capacity. And the Chinese enterprises need actively respond to international challenges to meet the international market and customer needs. Basing on this background, this paper take YT trade company's case as a an example. Basing on introducing the research background and the research meaning, this paper first reviews performance concept and the concept of performance management. Then this paper introduces the knowledge and the idea of BSC and the KPI that the domestic and international performance management research and practice are highly concerned about. Furthermore, taking the YT foreign trade company of YT group as an example, the paper conducted a comprehensive convey, analysis and diagnosis and confirmed the company's overall business management and human resources management, especially in performance management issues that the company facing. And basing the company's actual situation, it analyses the causes.Considering YT foreign trade company lacking of strategic performance management guidance and management infrastructure and neglecting the problem of systematic and staff involved in and so on, this paper decomposes and designs the sector performance indicators through applying the BSC and KPI methods. This paper designs the subject of evaluation basing on the company's value chain; it designs the weight basing the index properties. On this basis, this paper specifies the practice use of the organization and the process of the sector performance management, especially the performance communication and the performance results.Combing BSC and KPI, decomposing and designing sector performance indicators and designing the subject of evaluation basing on the company's value chain are the innovations of the paper. The YT foreign trade company in the paper needs to improve and complete the performance system of the sector in practice.
