City Size Growth Mechanism Of Coordinated Development Of Research

City scale research is the foundation of each city's economy, society and population development strategy. City is first the population concentration area produced aggregation benefit, and on this basis, it could be possible to produce gathered benefits of economic and scientific culture. In certain social and economic history background, the city's population carrying capacity is limited, the highly gathered of the modern urban population, on the one hand reflects the prosperity of urban economy and the rise of social and cultural undertakings, on the other hand brings a range of issues, pushing the urban population on the dilemma between survival and development. Optimal population scale is the key to the sustainable development of city, meanwhile the urban land scale and the scale of economy are closely related to the urban population scale, so doing research on the urban population scale growth mechanism and coordinated development countermeasures has very important and realistic significance in giving full play to the various functions of the city.This dissertation summarizes a large number of domestic and international researches on urban scale and a series of social, economic, environmental and other theories about the urban scale. Analyze the influential factors of urban scale growth, including natural environment, social economy, urban construction planning, and policy factors. The regression analysis result of the time series data of nearly eleven years of more than twenty indicators showed that the main influence factors of Xi'an urban population scale growth covering economic, social and ecological environment three aspects, including its industrial production, post and telecommunications business volume, water consumption, higher number of students in school and public library collections and built-up area of the green coverage. Because the city scale expansion has brought a series of problems, in order to solve these problems, optimizing urban structure, keep the sustainable development of the city, and puts forward the coordinated development countermeasures of the scale growth in Xi'an city, and carry out further research from population growth coordinated, urban growth management coordination, urban construction planning and coordination, mode of city development coordination four aspects. It provide a reference basis for make the urban development policy, and has important significance to promote the growth of Xi'an city efficiency, improve the people's living standards and promoting the comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable development of the city.
