Research On The Technological Catching-up Mode Of Technology-import Enterprise

Technology import is one important way for an enterprise to achieve technological catching-up. Compared with other kinds of catching-up modes, this mode is much more suitable for most developing countries cause of their less-developed technology and less-accumulated technology. It has been a long history for a country or an enterprise to develop their technology by means of technology import. However, many problems come up in the process of technology import and development, which eventually leads to a low efficiency and causes to fail to match the technology development expectation.So far, little research has been done on technology catching-up modes while most of it is for defining and classifying the different modes. Then, because of the increasing use range of the catching-up mode of technology import and the research situation, this essay would originally analyze the rationality of developing countries' using of this mode. By means of analysis of China's technology import and technology development, problems would be listed within China's technology import and development process. Then, the importance of the usage of the catching-up mode of technology import for China's enterprises will be deduced. In addition, this essay will tell the different catching-up modes and compares the catching-up mode of technology import and the mode of independent technology innovation which is aiming for showing the advantages of the former mode. The rationality of technology catching-up strategy and the rationality of implementation of technology-import catching-up mode will be illustrated.The third part of the essay is the major part within the essay. The original implementation model for the technology catching-up mode of technology import will be created.
