The Green Supply Chain Performance Evaluation

Since the 1990s, market competition goes into the competitive phase of the supply chain. Implementation behavior in the supply chain gives business large profits, however, at the same time the environmental problem becomes worse and lots of resources have been wasted, the concept of green supply chain is proposed in this background. The concept of green supply chain is take green environmental protection into account when green supply chain operations, it intend to promoted supply chain enterprises reduce the negative impact on the surrounding environment and increase resources utilization in the development process, and ultimately become a scientific, rational and environment-friendly sustainable development model of economic development. In the study of green supply chain, green supply chain performance evaluation is a very important research area that a good performance evaluation system can help businessmen find the arising issues in the implementation process of the green supply chain, and promote the green supply chain's development.Firstly this paper reviews the related theoretical studies about the performance evaluation of green supply chain and analyzes the basic concept of green supply chain from three aspects including the definition of green supply chain, content and features; then designs evaluation model of green supply chain based on the SCOR model for supply chain and the Balanced Scorecard model; next the paper analyzes the principle about selection of the performance evaluation index, the green supply chain performance evaluation index system is designed in the framework of the green supply chain evaluation model; final introducing two different methods for evaluation of green supply chain performance and gives the numerical example. The last part is a summary of this article, which sums up the paper and points out the direction of further research.
