Study On Development Strategy Of Port Logistics Of Shandong Peninsula

By understanding the characteristics of the development of modern port logistics and conjunct with the new development trend of the World port logistics ,this thesis analyzes the port logistics of Shandong Peninsula and the influence of the development of port logistics of China and its'neighboring countries. In view of the actual development of Shandong Peninsula port logistics, the paper proposes the concept of the development of Shandong Peninsula port logistics and the implementation of the strategic policy. Using mathematical model - network optimization method, they find the cost of port logistics can be sharply reduced after the establishment of strategic alliances and the competitiveness of Shandong peninsula port can be improved.This study is based on the research in the field and the extensive use of newspapers, magazines and network. It gives an objective analysis of the port logistics of Shandong Peninsula and presents the strategic concept of the development of Shandong Peninsula port logistics. Using the deep hinterland resources and the geographical advantages of possessing the closest international routes, they can consolidate resources in Shandong coastal ports and show the advantages of port-cluster prominent. Then the peninsula port group formed through the restructuring of a whole and Shandong ports will become the most powerful contender of the international shipping center in Northeast Asia.Based on the actual situation of the development of Shandong peninsula port, the study finds the approach to achieve the strategic alliance of Shandong Peninsula port. First, establish an alliance of regional economic development and make full use of Shandong Peninsula advantage of the economic development of the hinterland to build an international shipping center in Northeast Asia which is Qingdao as the lead, the Rizhao Port and the Yantai Port as the two wings .Second, make use of capital means to achieve integration, Qingdao Port Group and the Weihai Port Group, as well as with Rizhao Port Group is the adoption of this approach. This form of strategic alliance for cooperation in port have brought tremendous room for the development of cooperation between the two sides through the sharing of resources such as the waterways and technology, and fully tap their own potential and achieve the maximization of the interests of both sides. Through the establishment of strategic alliances, Port logistics can speed up the construction of port services outlets and through the operation of the market, mergers, acquisitions and equity investments, the Port Enterprises can support and develop a number of enterprises which will operate in accordance with international practices and have reasonable network structure to speed up the construction of the logistics network. After the establishment of port strategic alliances, port can expand the scope of its services and increase China's logistics technology and management level rapidly. Through the application of network optimization methods, we find the port can reduce transportation costs by the cooperation and enhance the competitiveness.
