As the sustained rapid development of China's economy and the domestic auto market is continually expanding, but the level of competition also intensified. In the highly competitive market, how to increase production and improve profitability under the basis of reducing their costs, has become a top priority for all automobile manufacturers. Today, the price of raw material, human resource and fuel continue to increase, and it has been paid more attention to use information management system to control the costs of production and logistic.As a well-known domestic automobile industry, a joint venture company, FAW-VW has introduced the SAP system to manage production and logistics in 1999, and fully implemented the Konzern system of Volkswagen Group in 2005, fully realized the entire process control of from receiving the orders to development and implementation of production plans, to preparing materials, that makes FAW-Volkswagen to achieve a lean production. I, as a manager of the production, has been involved the whole project of introduction of Konzern system.In this paper, FAW-Volkswagen logistics information management system made in detail, through the development of the system, components, functions to the application of the introduction sets out a comprehensive large-scale automobile production enterprise in the implementation of the need for logistics information management. Even the best systems have the times, otherwise it can not meet the needs of the times. I work with extensive experience in using the system while continuing to identify and review issues raised and to participate in the improvement of the system, has developed the FAW-Volkswagen's "Supply Chain Collaboration Platform - SCP" system to compensate for the original system deficiencies. SCP systems will also do this in detail.
