Change Of Chile's Technical Structure Of Their Exports And Its Impact On The Economic Growth

As the spokesman of the"neo-liberal reform ", Chile is one of the first and more successful Latin American countries that started market reforms. Chile's overall competitiveness is top of countries in Latin America. Since the reform, Chile has gradually formed the development of export-oriented resources and resource processing industry model. Based on its resource endowment and national conditions, development of the industry for its economic development shows a "low inflation, high growth" situation. This paper attempts to verify adaptability and accuracy of Chile's current development model, and solve questions of different development model between different countries.Chile's current development model can be reflected in the technical structure of exports. It mainly exports resource and resource-based processed products (such goods have low technical content and added value). In order to measure the technology of different commodities content, in this paper, after studying existing literature, referring and improving the other scholars'clear and quantifiable measure of a country's export-tech methods, measured the level of the SITC three yards technical content of 260 kinds of commodities value. On this basis, the paper research from three aspects, ie.horizontally comparison of the country's technical structure of export trade, the country's export trade trends in the overall technical levels, as well as the country with other national export trade competition complementary relationship of analysis to examine three- dimensional structure of Chile's exports of technology changes the situation.Finally, this paper studies the technical content of different types of Chilean exports to economic growth impact of the non-symmetry through dynamic panel data model, analyzes related trade and industrial policy in Chile, and pumps part for China's economic construction to refer.
