Statistical Study On The Development Of Logistics Industry In Xinjiang

Regional Logistics is an important component of regional economic system. Logistics is service in production, exchange, distribution and consumption, has become a basic industry in development of national economy, the effect of logistics industry is becoming more and more significant. Xinjiang is China's open door to the west, the western region's key economic center and China's energy base. Xinjiang can rely on accelerating development of modern logistics industry, base on the unique geographical location, for realizing Xinjiang into the strategic support of economic growth of western region as early as possible, to achieve the open window to the West with the driving function. so that Xinjiang become a large open channel and the bridgehead between West and China. Seizing the development opportunity to achieve economy rapidly development in Xinjiang.The study ues statistical methods:Comparative analysis approach, statistical comprehensive evaluation method, time series analysis method, multiple regression analysis and so on, research the development of logistics induatry in Xinjiang. Conducted a systematic study on the status of the development of the logistics industry, the effect of the development of logistics on economic growth, and the affecting factors of the logistics industry development in Xinjiang.First, describes the background and the significance of the study, reviews the current status of research at home and abroad in this paper presentes the study objectives, illuminates the content and methods of the study.Secondry, defined the concept of research related, and overview of the theoretical basis for research-related. Explains the emergence and development of the logistics industry because of deepening of the system of social division of labor and the higher level of specialization. According to industry development theory analyses the factors affecting industrial development. Focus on summarizing the growth pole theory in research of regional economic growth, location theory and so on. Pay attention on explaining theory of the relationship between the logistics industry an important part of modern service industry and the impact of regional economic development.Given the research theory of the fourth chapter.Third, analyses and evaluate the situation of development of logistics industry in Xinjiang.The overall size of the logistics industry rapidly grow in Xinjiang, the conditions and environment of the logistics industry development is constantly improving. By comparing the level of logistics industry in Xinjiang with other areas, there are still gaps to some extent, the logistics industry still in primary stages of development. Comprehensive evaluation of the level of development across the country, the logistics industry in Xinjiang is weak. However, the logistics industry of Xinjiang have certain advantages in the western region. Using the SWOT method analyses the development of logistics industry in Xinjiang's internal conditions and external environment find the Xinjiang has advantages in the conditions and external opportunities. Meanwhile, Xinjiang's logistics market demand is flourishing in future.Lastly, This paper analyse the effect of the development of logistics sector on economic growth, and have an empirical study on the affecting factors of the Logistics development in Xinjiang. Through the study we found:there is a significant positive correlation between the development level of logistics and economic growth with Long-term Equilibrium. In short-term, the relationship of fluctuation between logistics and economic growth is positive, too. Using principal component regression method establish the analysis model of affecting factors of the Logistics development in Xinjiang. Study found that:Demand, technology and the government have the most effect on the development of Logistics. Means of transportation has the least effect on Logistics in Xinjiang. Market condition is a positive industrial factor on the development of Logistics.In this paper, statistical study on development of the logistics industry in Xinjiang, acquired some valuable research results and data, the results of research for the development of the logistics industry, has a certain reference value to policy-making in Xinjiang.
