Tourism is a comprehensive industry, it is based on the flow of people and consumption-based industries, industry relevance, strong Driven, which could drive a large number of related industries and create a lot of jobs, thus further, accelerate the tourism development, is the comprehensive construction well-off society and expand employment of strategic requirements. From the tourism development strategy, the need to keep pace with The Times, the function of tourism from the history of"to promote economic growth"to the transition of" stably to promote economic growth and highlighted the expansion of social employment". But tourism industry scale of China, the whole economic benefit has not yet been fully play in absorbing labor employment, and has great potential be improved. Therefore, the employment functions of tourism should have more scientific and comprehensive understanding.This paper focused on the research of Yunnan tourism employment effects. Firstly from the relations of Yunnan province three industries and employment, it is concluded that the tertiary industry in absorbing employment has obvious advantages.Then estimates the Yunnan tourism employment elasticity and compare laboring productivity among thirteen years , construct the regression model that impact on tourism employment, estimate the tourism of employment in the five years, and the conclusion that comprehensive evaluation result, and according to the quantitative results, put forward a suggestion that promote the development of tourism employment. This paper mainly results can be classified into the following:(1) In the aspect of theory, this paper adopts the econometric analysis, complete assessment tourism employment effects, except more commonly used input and output method and multiplier method at present, but also can use an econometric theory and method, use the software of econometrics to collect and analyze data, this article is bold use econometric analysis method to analyze tourism employment effects and obtain a conclusion. In such a guiding ideology, combining previous research of the study, provide a new research means and methods about tourism employment effects.(2) On the industrial labor transfer theory, analyze the three industries labor transfer of Yunnan, through econometric model analysis, the concluded that the three industry labor transfer in Yunnan province was not equal the original industrial transfer theory, but the directions are same. The third industry in absorbing employment has obvious advantages.(3) Through to calculate Yunnan tourism employment elasticity and compare laboring productivity and estimate employment in future, which can be seen from the results, without statistical leakage, and apart from the defect of the research methods, the research conclusion is nearly 10 years with the tourism industry in Yunnan province of employment trends. According to the results, we can approximate estimate the future employment growth in tourism.(4) According to the research and Yunnan tourism development present situation, this paper has pointed out the internal and external environment and tourist employment capacity and channels some useful Suggestions.
