Since 2004, Guangdong Province was first recognized be lack of migrant workers. "Shortage of Rural Labor" had spread to the entire Pearl River triangle, Yangtze River triangle, and then spread to the Midwest of China. Recently, in the wake of the financial crisis economic rebounds, "Shortage of Rural Labor" is spreading to the country again. This phenomenon has been a serious threat to the process of China's economic development. As a populous country, China has repeatedly happened "Shortage of Rural Labor". Cai Fang thinks "Lewis turning point" has come. However, the employment situation in China is still not optimistic. Therefore, according to the phenomena, this paper is to explore and study the labor market in China on the basis of data analysis.Firstly, this paper describes the features of "Shortage of Rural Labor" in general, industry, age, gender and other perspective. And puts forward the phenomenon of "Shortage of Rural Labor" mainly performs as follows: the shortage of technically, the structural shortage of age, and gender. Then, as "Lewis turning point" has been proposed, we judge "Shortage of Rural Labor " does not mean the absolute shortage of rural labor by five test. Then, because "labor shortage" is not caused by the arrival of a turning point, so what are the real reasons of "Shortage of Rural Labor ". With the aid of the model of labor flowing between urban and rural. Through empirical testing, the reasons of "Shortage of Rural Labor "are: the income gap between rural and urban, developed areas cost of living, rural living costs and transfer costs. This paper thinks the city's rapid increase in the cost of living and slowly rising of wages are the main causes. Then we analysis the causes from the population, economy, society. Finally in the course of solving "Shortage of Rural Labor ", this paper analyses the influence of the shortage of rural labor on our economy and proposes some feasible threads and suggestions. This paper considers the government, the enterprise and the labors should have the corresponding responsibility. That essentially solves this problem, we must respect the objective laws of market economy, a reasonable allocation of resources. On the other hand, the Government has to establish the whole social security system, to achieve the multiplier effect. And workers should improve their own qualities to meet the needs of society.
