The performance management of financial managers is mainly based on performance appraisal. It's a process of management, which consists of the following three questions: What goal does the financial manager want to achieve. Why and how does he achieve the mutual recognition and pledge. The idea of performance management to modern financial managers emphasis not only on the outcome, but also on the process. The outcome of performance appraisal is used not only in job evaluation, in judging what has been done, but also in evaluating the potential ability of organizational members, in understanding and focusing on what others they can do.Performance appraisal takes an important role in HRM. It's usually taken as the basement of wage and promotion. And it gives a basement of establishing organizational training system and planning the long-time career life. The validity of performance appraisal mechanism directly affect the incentive effect of the HRM system and the fairness of organizational management. And it will influence the degree of satisfaction of financial managers. Nowadays , when financial company takes the incentive measure and the degree of satisfaction of financial managers more and more important, how to establish a performance appraisal system becomes a hot topic.
