In this paper a case study of Wuyi Mountain, one of the twenty-three natural and cultural world Heritage Sites in the world and one of the four in China,is put forward. This paper is composed of four proposition:(1) Tourism attraction assesment: The natural and humane landscape in Wuyi Mountain is very rich and of high quality, specially boat coffin,Zhuzi school, Jiuqu drift are the rare landscape resource in China.(2) Tourism environmental carrying capacity accounting:three different concenpts-the maximum, conservative, and reasonable daily tourism environmental carrying capacity-were put forward and distinguished. To amend the drawback in traditional linear tourism environmental carrying capacity model, a modified model was set up.And it shows that the reasonable tourism environmental carrying capacity of Wuyi Mountain scenic spot is 9,032 passengers a day.(3) Evaluation of the tourism attraction value: the implications of the consumer surplus curve are discriminated, and an entropy-weight-based multiple-destination travel cost method, which is directed against the widely-existing multiple destination problem,is put forward The application of entropy-weight-based TCM to evaluate the Wuyi Mountain tourism attraction value show that:the native tourism benefits of Wuyi Mountain tourism attraction value in 2002 was 22.301×10~8 yuan.(4) Evaluation of tourism attraction non-use value of Wuyi Mountain: The monetary value of non-use value of Wuyishan tourism attraction was gauged by CVM method using willingness-to-pay elicited by payment card approaches, The CVM study shows that its value is RMB 22.19×10~8 yuan annually on the basic of WTP median 11.50 yuan per peson per year. A test-retest procedure for payment card approaches was used in this case, and a random sample of native environment assessment engineers were interviewed twice with an interval of around 6 months. The reliability tested indicates that there is no statistically significant difference between the values obtained in two time periods.
