The legislation of social security housing is also backward, causes lots of problems when we solve the housing difficult of low income family. With the speeding up of our country urbanization and the growth of population, the contradictory between the population and the housing is more and more prominent, therefore, establishing the social security housing system and perfecting social security housing legislation has become current urgent matter.Under this background, the paper conducts a thorough research in view of country social security housing system and the legislation. Above all, the paper embarks from general theory of the social security housing system, analyzes the social security housing connotation and clarify relations between the social security housing and the social security. Moreover, analyzes the housing security system and legislation of main developed countries and areas, hoping from comparing different security housing systems and the legislation among these countries and areas, in order to get some enlightenments for us. Once more, the paper studies security housing system's history and the present situation of China, elaborating some problems exist in current social security housing system and analyzes the reasons. Finally, in view of the problems existed in our country social security housing system, coming up with the basic system framework of social security housing system and advocating to formulate "Housing Security Law" in order to provide the legal supporting for the social security housing system.
