In the early-1980s, intrapreneurship attracted the numerous scholars' interests. This new theory proposed that stems from two aspect reasons: First, changes in the external environment set forth new requirements for the company's innovative speed and manner; Second, the increasingly huge structure system of the big companies brought many shortcomings, such as tardiness, huge waste, which inhibited the pace of the company's innovation. Intrapreneurship becomes the strategic demand for enterprise's development, and the means to be innovative and to create value. The kind of function displays in: Intrapreneurship not only drives product innovation and renewal, but also led enterprises to develop new business. Intrapreneurship helps maintain a certain growth rate and achieve diversification, thus, maintain and enhance core competitiveness in rapidly developed environment.With the perspective of entrepreneurial network in Chinese environment, the paper analyzes the function mechanism between entrepreneurial network and the choice of intrapreneurship patterns, and concludes that different entrepreneurial networks lead to different intrapreneurship pattern. The conclusion inspires entrepreneurs to build and expand their network to improve the performance of intrapreneurship and enhance the competitive.First, based on literature review and practice, paper proposed two-dimensionalnatrix illustrating four patterns of intrapreneurship. With the dimensions of sourcesand the boundary of intrapreneurship, the four patterns are: autonomous-internalintrapreneurship, induced-external intrapreneurship, induced-external intrapreneurshipand autonomous-external intrapreneurship. It further defines the patterns respectivelyand proofs the categorization by case study. Second, the function mechanism isexplored by perspective of entrepreneurial network. Three dimensions are recognizedto measure the entrepreneurial network. Later, the paper analyzed the relationshipbetween entrepreneurial network and different patterns of intrapreneurship intensively.With the work above, research assumptions are presented. Third, empirical study wasmade to establish the model. And logistic regression was applied to verify the researchproposal. Later, paper drew the conclusion from statistic research and discussed theresults. Finally, suggestions are proposed in hope of making itself a meaningful work.The summary is given, as well as the research prospect.
