Chengdu Housing Security Research

With the deepening of the housing market in ChengDu, The problems caused its intrinsic defects have gradually been exposed, of which the most noticeable are the sharp increase of housing prices and that the medium and low income families can not afford an apartment. As a result, It is necessary for us to make an analysis of the causes of the problems and to put forward the corresponding solutions. Therefore, It is of great significance to research into the urban housing security system.This paper analyzes the policies adopted in chengdu during its phases of hosing reform and their influences over the housing market. It concludes the main problems of housing refromin ChengDu lie in the building of housing scurity system. It then makes a comparison of housing security systems in HongKong, The United States, Japan and Singaore, Hence exploring the theories of housing security systems and drawing the experiences in tackling housing problems for medium and low income families. Finally, this paper proposes solutions to the building of housing security systems in ChengDu from the macro and micro perspective.In conclusion, China's housing reform is still to be deepened. Only through transformation of mecanism and combination of market regulation and government control can the housing market develop healthily.
