The core target of strategic human resource management is promoting the firm performance. Moreover, the viewpoint of human resource management have effect on firm performance has been largely accepted by native and foreign scholars. But, how the human resource management relates to firm performance and what about the action mechanism between them? There is no unified argument about the "black-box" problem between the human resource management and firm performance. This paper will have a deeply study on the action mechanism between strategic human resource management and firm performance. We intend to systematically discuss this topic on two levels, individual level and organizational level, and then construct the mode of the effect mechanism of strategic human resource management on firm performance.Demonstration the affection of strategic human resource management on firm performance in practice has been an important research area. By now, the most of empirical study on strategic human resource management and firm performance is on the base of firms in West Country. Theories base on foreign context not always work in our country. So this paper will have an empirical study base on the high-tech enterprise in Hunan provinces, simultaneously because the importance of high-tech enterprises in the new economic era. In this article we choose sixteen human resource management index and four firm performance index to study. The analysis indicates that synthesized HRM index has a positive effect on assets yield, market share and R&D capability, and then has a negative effect on natural demission rate of the firm. The empirical study results have validates the positive effect of strategic human resource management on firm performance to a certain degree.
