Ppg Business Model Innovation

This paper attempts to propose five basic types of enterprise business model and reveals new nature, realization methodology, basic types and basic mechanism of the model, through in-depth study of two theories: business model theory and creative theory based on complicated theoretical theory and business model of value chain. Through some theoretical analysis of business model theory, this paper makes a case study on PPG (Shanghai) Clothing Co, Ltd, which is a case of business model innovation. By SWOT analysis, this paper studies the business model, marketing model, supply management system and honest service system, analyzing the business model of PPG Company and having a conclusion that the business model of PPG Company is similar to the model combining value chain's extending and dividance. PPG company innovates on procurement model, research and development model, financial model, logistics management model, marketing model, financing model, service model of the value chain business model and has an organic integration of the sub-model innovation. The paper points out the advantages and exist hidden danger of PPG's business model innovation. On the basis of business model innovation theory and the excellent business model types, this paper proposes some solutions on the problems of PPG's business model, and gives some suggestions on China's enterprise business model reform and on-line direct selling enterprises in China.
