Guizhou Province Unemployment Insurance System To Promote Employment-oriented Research

since the establishment of the system of unemployment insurance in Gui Zhou province in 1986, it has played an important role in guaranteeing basic livings of the unemployed,maintaining social stability and promoting social harmony. However, as the policy-based closure and bankruptcy and intensified reform and restructure in state-owned enterprises, together with labor oversupply in cities and fiercer job-hunting market, which was caused by quickening steps of urbanization and continuously increased unskilled labor, the present system of unemployment insurance seems unable to meet needs. In view of the situation above, a reform for unemployment insurance is urgently needed to promote re-employment.Beginning with the current state of unemployment insurance research, this thesis takes theoretical findings home and abroad as the basic of its post-study. Then, the paper reviews the development of unemployment insurance in our province, introduces the relevant system in Germany, Japan and America and at the same time analyzes our own in its coverage,collections of insurance fee and fund expenses to show the gains and losses of unemployment insurance in Gui Zhou. In the last two parts, considering the perfection and breakthrough of the current system structure, running environment of unemployment insurance is examined and some measures and ideas for improvement are provided.
