Penglai, Long Island Tourism Linkage Development Research

Theory research and the practice on the regional tourism cooperation has been vigorous in our country. The academe begin to focus on the case study and empirical research which based on general and over all research. This shift is of great significance because regional tourism development is an inherent characteristic.Fist of all, this paper mainly studies the tourism development to the status quo in order to find the main problems in the Penglai and Changdao area. Then the article argues the necessity and feasibility of the actual operation if joint development is carried. Many obstacles which the author should focus on are in the process of the linkage including the concept of local protectionism, the institutional barriers, the difference between the motives, the main reason of the limited cooperation as well as having no sound mechanism. At the same time micro foundation is not solid.The article analyzes the cooperation modes of the regional tourism cooperation as well as the particularity of regional tourism combined development between the island and the earth. On the basis of the above analysis the author brings about the cooperation modes of the linkage between the two tourism destinations.To detail, the modes include two-way interaction, the sharing of resources and integrated development eventually.Finally, the paper discusses the long-term development goals and impetus redounding to linkage. Subject to the research of the cooperation modes, the thesis talks over the safeguard mechanism including the exploitation and integration of tourism products, improvement of the tourist infrastructure , propagandizer of the regional tourism image and so on.
