In these years, the theory of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is being expanded and optimized. Especially the IT-based BPR practice is getting more and more widespread in China. However, the implementation of BPR is always companied with high failure rate. Researches found that one important reason resulted in the failure of BPR is that the BPR project will cause the changes of staff's responsibility and way of working, and definitely the staff's satisfaction towards the irresistible transformation activities will be a problem. The staff's satisfaction is related to the success of the project. So doing the research to understand that what factors influence the satisfaction, and then enhance the staff satisfaction to increase the success possibility of implementing BPR project will have significant practical value.The goal of the dissertation is to discuss what factors influence the staff satisfaction based on the comprehension of the influence of the IT-based BPR project towards the staff. The dissertation first reviews the related theories, including the theory of BPR implementation, innovation adoption behavior research and the mandatory usage theory and so on. And based on these theories the dissertation introduces the BPR project staff satisfaction factors model. Then by collecting the data from the survey, the dissertation verifies and amends the factors model by correlate and regression analysis to the staff satisfaction factors towards the BPR project.The research is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The research is still at the start stage domestically, and there are limited theory researches on this topic. This research explores on this research topic, and is of noteworthy value on both theoretical and practical.
