Study Of Technological Innovation And Technical Property Management

Technological innovation and technological property management is of great significance to sustainable development of enterprises, especially under the background of knowledge-based economy, Thus enterprises should attach more importance to technological innovation and technological property management in order to have further development. From different angles, many scholars and experts had extensive and in-depth study on enterprises' knowledge management and technological resource management; they also gave some constructive comments on improving the capabilities of enterprises' technological innovation as well as technological properties. But there still exist some problems. In view of how to plan, obtain and develop essential core technology and related property management, this paper firstly standardizes enterprise's knowledge definition from the perspective of resource-based theory, and in further proposes technological property management system (TPMS) with effectiveness and dynamics through literature review of TRMS and IPRM.The TPMS involves three stages: technology management, innovation management and technological property management. Each stage was subdivided into concrete steps and operational mechanism. Technology management mainly focus on seeking the key technology that business must have and evaluating the technology required at present or in the future, which implementation mechanism includes auditing, evaluating, monitoring and planning. That demonstrates "what technology is required by enterprises?" Innovation management guides enterprises to make efficient innovation by choosing the most suitable way which includes inner self-innovation, outer purchasing, and cooperation between researches and universities, etc. That is referred to "how to obtain the very technology". Technology innovation obtains provide technology property management with inputs, and technology property management is conductive to protecting obtains of technology innovation. Technological property management paid more attention to manage technological property to gain the most benefit, which is about "how to achieve and maintain the very technology? "The three stages are interrelated and progressive and go deep into the further development.In the end, two detailed cases are given to validate the effectiveness and maneuverability of the TPMS. Both of the two cases are about the business development of Taiwan Honghai Science and Technology Group and Shanghai Baosteel Company, whose technology property management system matches the proposed one of this paper. Hopefully enterprises can find a feasible way on how to manage technological property and also gain related reference on strategy making.
