Shandong Province is also one of the provinces which face serious regional economic disparities, the expansion of regional economic disparities against the regional social development and social stability, leading to more serious social differentiation between rich and poor, hindering the overall economic efficiency further improved. Therefore, the coordinated development of regional economy has become a urgent problem, the researches and advices about the regional economic differences in Shandong Province have a practical significance. This paper analyse the differences in regional economic of the Shandong Province, and mainly discussed the four parts as follows:First, introduction. First introduce the research background, purpose and significance of the study, a comprehensive theory of regional economic disparities at home and abroad, and studies at home and abroad were reviewed.Second, The empirical analysis of regional economic disparities in Shandong Province. On the basis of defining the regional unit, introduce the definition of regional economic disparities and the Measurement methods, then at the basis of extensive data collection, processing the data reasonably; use the method of factor analysis and so on to do Empirical Analysis about the reasons and the development trends, and to get conclusions.Third, The reasons of the regional economic disparities in Shandong Province. According to the results of the second parts and related theories, analyse the causes of differences in regional economic in Shandong Province, from the aspects as capital stock, human capital, industrial structure and so on.Forth, the control concepts on regional economic disparities. According to the analysis above and the regional economy development theories, Combine the development strategy of Shandong Province for the future, provide the control concepts.In the end come to the conclusions: the regional economic differences are very obviously in Shandong Province, and show a trend of expansion, the absolute differences expand rapidly, the relative difference in steady development, but a slight increase. The main reasons are that the differences of the endowment of resources, physical capital, human capital, as well as differences in industrial structure and so on of different city, the cities should chose the develop path in favor of their own in accordance with their endowment of resources.
