Now ti is the time for business globalization,which is particularly determined by the fast development of informaiton,telecommunication and transportation infrastructures. Although the globlization gives companies many opportunities ,it also makes them face more threats from te global competitors. Under such a condition, a huge number of firms are seeking to increase their competitive strength by a variety of ways. One critical factor for companies to survive and development in a competitive environment is to understand how to use their human resources effciently. As a part of human resource management, performance managerment can largely improve firms' competitive strengths by its way to combine companies' over all strategies with employees' daily activities.This thesis based on the KING company as the study object, research performance in a wide range of management theory and its development trends on the basis of comprehensive use of survey research, statistical analysis, comparative studies, quantitative and qualitative integration and testing methods, form the strategic perspective of a performance management company for the work, analysis and diagnosis, identify the company's current performance management of the outstanding issues, is a performance management company to the concept of serious deviation understanding of the purpose of performance management, lack of awareness of the role. Generally performance management and performance appraisal mixed company of officers at all levels to implement the Performance Management there is a big gap, management staff at all levels in the Performance Management assume responsibility for the staff's awareness and sense of participation low; The implementation of performance management mechanism of implementation mechanisms is incomplete and performance management process was incomplete , inadequate communication process management, performance appraisal and evaluation are not scientific enough, pay system and the performance of the staff association is low value; performance management and other functions not have a synergistic effect; Performance Management in the passing of the company's strategy, encourage staff ot enhance performance, to enhance staff and the ability to work and management level fail to play its due role. To deal with the problems of Company KING of the performance management system solutions, Based on KING company's overall strategy and the theories of performance management, this study has generated a suitable method to establish the company's performance management system, which is combined by different performance management instruments. This dissertation has reated the abstract theory to practical work. The improved performance management system will further accelerate the improvement of overall performance.By conducting a case study for KING Company, this dissertation has related the abstract theory to practical work. The improved performance management system will further accelerate the improvement of overall performance. Although this study only gives advices to a particular company, its methodologies for setting up an efficient performance system can be used by many other businesses as well.
