Liuyang Fireworks Enterprise Knowledge Absorption Capacity Of The Empirical Research On Export Performance

According to the Resource-based Theory and Knowledge-based View, firm's knowledge and accumulated experience is the main source of its competitive advantage. Acquisition, assimilation, integration and application of external knowledge, that is, firm's knowledge absorptive capacity has become an important theory among all the theories of firm internationalization. Based on the firm theory of Dynamic Capabilities, firm's knowledge absorptive capacity is also a kind of dynamic capability. It's a capability to help enterprises acquire and maintain sustainable advantages. From the perspective of absorptive capacity, this paper studied its impact on firm's export performance.This paper systematically described knowledge absorptive capacity's definition, affecting factors and organizational outputs, and then divided knowledge absorptive capacity into 4 dimensions, knowledge acquiring ability, assimilating ability, integrating ability and applying ability. Through empirical analysis, we tested knowledge absorptive capacity's impact on firm's export performance, and also considered the adjustment effect of dynamic environment on the impact.We took the export-oriented Liuyang fireworks firms as our research objects. By field survey, we had the general managers complete our questionnaires; finally we got 93 valid questionnaires. We chose SPSS 11.5 as our data analyzing tool. Using method of correlation and linear regression, we verified the hypotheses as below.1. Firm's knowledge absorptive capacity (knowledge acquiring ability, assimilating ability, integrating ability and applying ability) has a positive impact on its export performance.2. The greater the environment's dynamism is, firm's realized absorptive capacity (knowledge integrating ability and applying ability) has a stronger positive impact on its export performance.
