As the provincial capital of Jiangsu Province, Nanjing is also the politics, economy, cultural center of Jiangsu. The industry foundation is abundant and the economical development is quick. Nanjing is one of entire province power load centers. Through many years' construction, Nanjing's electrical network construction have made certain result,but along with the demand of uses electricity unceasing enhancement, delivery capacity limited and electric power supply still day by day prominent.This article starts from introduction of basic concepts and theories about project management as well as analysis on characteristics of power projects. Then, the author comprehensively probes the current situation from aspects of organizational design of T&D (transmission & distribution) projects management, schedule management and quality management, analyses the problems existed in T&D project engineering management in Nanjing Power Supply Company, puts forward that the adoption of matrix organizational structure in project management will facilitate the communication between departments which will remarkably improve the efficiency. Following that, the article discusses the application of three-level schedule management system in the project schedule management, in which schedule targets will be split to different levels and specifically fall into tasks of the constructors, designers and suppliers. In the last part, with regard to factors influenced quality, the author brings up measurements for improvement of quality control such as selection of construction teams and project managers, management of construction machineries, in-advance control on construction plans and all procession tracking management.
