Facilitation Of Global Trade Trends And China's Policy Recommendations

Trade facilitation is an important factor to promote trade liberalization. It has become more important to make transaction process more convenient and efficient, remove the hinder factor of goods and elements over cross-border movement and reduce the trade cost, so as to establish a modern and efficient trade facilitation system. Especially in the current context, many negative factors are hampering the development of trade facilitation, such as the gloomy global economic and global trade protectionism. At this time, doing researching on development trend of trade facilitation and to promote global trade facilitation has very important and long-term development significance.Areas of trade facilitation involves lots of complicated elements, this paper is from the angle of global economic, by comparing the whole 121 countries and areas in the main aspects of trade facilitation, to analyze the barriers of the implementation of global trade facilitation and the development trend of global trade facilitation.In conjunction with China's developments in the field of trade facilitation, this paper suggests the strategic options to comply with global trade facilitation trend.This paper has four parts, researching on the development trend of global trade facilitation, focusing on the international experience of trade facilitation, the comparison of trade facilitation with major nations, the key hinder factors of the implementation of global trade facilitation and development trend, the trade facilitation practical exploration and policy recommendations of China. This paper argues that trade facilitation is an ongoing process, the same benefits exists between different countries, government and traders, so pushing forward the implementation of global trade facilitation is the general trend. The development trend of global trade facilitation is more secure and efficient trade flow, more extensive use of information technology, more stringent and complex inspection and quarantine standards, and more rapid process of regional trade facilitation. For complying with the development trend of trade facilitation, China should further improve the following fields:Market access, border management transparency and information technology, including improve customs efficiency, deepen the port management, improve relevant policies and regulations, enhance the quality of infrastructure, improve the level of service and use FTA to strengthen the cooperation with neighbor countries and members with adequate experience, also the cooperation between the government and traders. So that China can establish a more efficient coordination mechanism for trade facilitation.
