Comprehensive Evaluation Of The Level Of Modernization Of Manufacturing Enterprises Is A Comparative Study

Modernization is a process through which a backward enterprise can achieve the same characteristics of developed modernized enterprise. The essence of modern enterprise is the achievement of modern competitiveness, because modernized enterprise is representing the basic characters of advanced social productivity. There are some rigid indexes such as competitiveness for modernization, as well as some soft indexes such as corporate governance, social responsibility, humanistic concern and environment. Although modernization is an old research subject, most of the researches are quite vacuous from the microcosmic aspect of view; some even identify enterprise modernization with industrialization or informationization. Only few have done comprehensive research on measuring the level of enterprise modernization. Based on the pilot study on the evaluation index system, the integrated evaluation model, as well as the modernization characteristics of manufacturing enterprises, this paper picks Chongqing Jianshe Group as a case and texts the modernization level of it with the model constructed. This paper helps to find problems of the case company, thus come up with feasible solutions to promote the modernization level of it. The research is mainly covering following aspects:1. Make a research on the theory of enterprise modernization, evaluation of modernization level as well as the modernization characteristics of manufacturing enterprises.2. According to the relationship and characteristics of the indexes, we use AHP to confirm the weight of variables and constitute an integrated evaluation system.3. Make a research on the non-dimensional treatment and Benchmarking, and finally establish an Integrated Evaluation Model to evaluate the modernization level of manufacturing enterprise.4. Make a case study on Jianshe Group. Evaluate the modernization level of it by using the Integrated Evaluation System. And come out with some countermeasures and suggestions which will help to improve the level of modernization.Finally make a conclusion of the research and give an outlook of the future study in this field.
