Shanghai Theme Hotel Regional Interior Design Exploration

The continuous development of Chinese theme hotel marked the increasing mature of hotel industry.With the hotel's theme of being developed,a group of hotels with a typical regional themes gradually cater to the people of all ages. Meanwhile,domestic cities are exploring regional culture in order to creat unique urban business cards nowaday.The theme hotel has been increasingly concerned about and become one of the development directions in hotel industry.In this situation,how to utilize the performance of the hotel interior design to express the hotles'regional theme is worthy of studying for the designers.This thesis mainly studies the regional features of Shanghai theme hotels'interior design. Firstly,this thesis discourses the formation and design features of ordinary theme hotels on the basis of definition,then studies Shanghai theme hotels as the research object,analyze the current developing situation and desing problems of it.Secondly,the text studies the research topics—the regional features of Shanghai theme hotels'interior design on the basis of the investigation ,which combined with the regional design methods.At the end,the article summarized the successful experience of regional interior design with the combination of several typical cases,in order to guide those domestic theme hotel how to make better use of interior design techniques to express the distinction and characteristics of the themes,which is worthy of reflecting for us.
