This essay briefly introduces the classification and current status of Chinese minor high-tech enterprises. Moreover, it also analyzes their management features and major problems that restrict their development. Just like the Chengdu TA Company, Chinese minor high-tech enterprises are in the weak position of the market for their inadequate management scale, management level and capital accumulation. In addition, they generally lack of predicable, comprehensive and systematic strategy management.This essay takes Chengdu TA Company as a case study to investigate the strategy management of minor high-tech enterprises. It utilizes the SWOT Analysis to offer a direction choice for enterprise development strategy by an explicit investigation of the internal and external strategy environment of the case enterprise; it also utilizes the competitive strategy theory of Michael Porter to make its own competitive strategy according to the real status of the company.First, this essay analyzes the external company environment from the aspects of management macro-environment, and industrial environment. According to the analysis, it determines the key factors which affect the success and failure of enterprise.Second, it elaborates company internal resources and capabilities in seven aspects, including human resources, technical resources, capability of organization and management, capability of technology innovation, capability of competition, capability of marketing and capability of manufacture and operation. By the analysis, it concludes the crucial resources and unique ability which can determine the development of a company.Third, combined with the internal and external key environment factors, it comprehensively analyzes the situation. That includes the chance and threat, and the advantage and disadvantage. By the use of SWOT Matrix Analysis, it determines the strategy direction and way of company development.Fourth, it conducts the competitive strategy for minor high-tech enterprises:concentration, slot occupation, characteristic management and cooperation. By a full interpretation of the advantage and venture of these four types of competitive strategy, this essay put forward a referential strategy measure.At last, this essay mainly discusses the key problems which usually be omitted in the making and operating of company strategy in the aspects of marketing, brand establishment and culture construction.
