High-tech industry is based on high-tech and knowledge-intensive industries, the state and the level of its development has a great influence on the development of the national economy and society. The fully understanding for the development of high-tech industry can promote scientific and technological innovation, promote high-tech industrialization process, deepen the reform of Hefei economic mechanisms. In recent years, with the implementation of the city government, "the Great Lake City, Innovation Heights" development concept, high-tech industry in Hefei has also become a major strategic objectives of technological development, and therefore understand the status of the high-tech industry development in Hefei has strategic importance and practical significance.Theses from Hefei Soft Science Projects, "High-tech Industries in Hefei Basic Research Status and Development Path". In this paper, the third national economic census data of Hefei has been used, and according to the high-tech industry statistics developed by the National Bureau of Standards, after the relevant data has been compilation, the paper build a high-tech industrial development index system from comprehensive evaluation of scale, technological innovation, and economic. First using the index system analyzed the Hefei high-tech industry’s status; secondly use the factor analysis and entropy comprehensive evaluation to research on comprehensive evaluation, then compare and analyze the evaluation results, discuss the features and the problems in high-tech industry; finally, on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the above, put forward the relevant countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the development of high-tech industry in Hefei.
