With the development of technology and economy, the quality requirements of life and products are increasing. Moreover, due to the fierce market competition, the enterprises have to make continuous improvements, increase product quality and enhance the quality competitiveness to obtain bigger survival and development space. In this condition, the Six Sigma management model which was born in Motorola and got great success in GE is now sweeping globally with its strict and scientific system, method and successful result. The global 500 manufacturing companies almost accept the philosophy and methods and gradually implement the Six Sigma management. Since China's accession to WTO, Chinese enterprises are completely exposed to the global market competition, learning the advanced management model which is an inevitable choice for Chinese enterprises to take part in the global competitions.KT corporation is one of the airborne equipment development and manufacturing company. The company needs to grow into the world aviation industry chain, to participate in the international aviation industry competition. The traditional management model can't meet the development, thus advanced management model implementation is imperative.The writer as a production quality manager of KT corporation analyzes by using some modern enterprises'management especially Six Sigma knowledge for the quality problems, explores the valid method of importing and implementation Six Sigma for company development.The article is divided into six chapters:The first chapter:KT presentation and the quality problems. Firstly, it gives a brief introduction to KT's background and main business; Then it analyzes the main problems in the quality management.The second chapter:Six Sigma summarization. This chapter expatiates the Six Sigma original and development, basic theory and method and as well the relationship between current management method (TQM, lean) and Six Sigma.The third chapter:The KT corporation environmental analysis. This chapter analyzes the company's macro environment firstly and then analyzes the industry environment and at last, it analyzes the company internal environment.The fourth chapter:Import and implementation of Six Sigma. This chapter expatiates the import and implementation of Six Sigma combined with the implementation cases of five phases:Definition(D), Measurement(M), Analysis(A), Improvement(I) and Control(C).The fifth chapter:The integrated advance together with lean production and Six Sigma management. This chapter describes the idea of lean production and gives instances of combination of lean production and Six Sigma.The sixth chapter:The summarization and suggestion of implementation of Six Sigma. This chapter introduces the result of the Six Sigma management, the experience and the suggestion as well.This article combines the cases with theory, adopts the combination of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, bases on the figures and tables as the assistant instruction to provide the foundation theory and cases to import and implementation of Six Sigma for KT and other companies.Since the writer is at the beginning of the study and research of the Six Sigma management, any inappropriate, please oblige me with your valuable comments.
