| Apoptosis refers to the cell's active death process with the control of genes. Some virulence factors may lead to the abnormal gene regulation in the process of cell apoptosis, which may weaken or strengthen the cell apoptosis, then the cells' homeostasis in the human body would be destroyed, and it leads to the disease outbreak in the end. The heart is one of the target organs that would be most often damaged by high blood pressure. The long-term overload chronic pressure due to high blood pressure will definitely lead to the fitness changes of heart structure and functions(cardiac remodeling). The change of heart structure is mainly in the form of LVH, more and more research has shown the high blood pressure LVH patients have the myocardial cell apoptosis and abnormal gene expression of related cells. Moreover, for different LVH, the gene expression and cell apoptosis in different development phases are in different forms. During recent years, people have made all kinds of explorations regarding medicine's influence to cell apoptosis, and achieved certain success. Traditional Chinese drugs is an important composing part of traditional medical science, its influence to cell apoptosis has aroused extensive attention of domestic and foreign scholars, and they've done a lot of research work. According to traditional Chinese medical theories, the balance of yin and yang in human body is based on the dependence of themselves, the form of high blood pressure LVH is a fitness reaction of the high blood pressure patients in the unceasing process of searching balance of yin, yang, qi and blood. It's shown as hyperplasia trauma of heart, which is similar as the "distention" in Chinese traditional medicine. With the apoptosis of myocardial cells, its pathologic foundation lies in blood stasis, Qi deficiency and Yin deficiency of liver and kidney, especially blood stasis. Rhizoma Chuanqiong can invigorate the circulation of blood and qi, relieve cold and pain; Danshen can quicken blood and transform stasis, reduce fever and cool the blood, both of them are common clinical drugs used to activate blood flow. Milkvetch roots can invigorate qi and nourish yin, it is diuretic and can dispel virus, discharge pus, heal sore and promote granulation, it's a common clinical drugs for reinforcing qi. A lot of clinical data have clearly proved these three medicines can treat LVH, the experimental research has shown they can restrain the apoptosis of myocardial cells due to ischemia-reperfusion. While there is little research on the influence of myocardial cell apoptosis of suckling rats culture in vitro to Ang Ⅱ inducement. Chinese traditional medical theory has the thought of "guarding and curing diseases earlier", it emphasizes the importance of disease prevention and early-stage treatment. The high blood pressure LVH is a bad result due to the long-term high blood pressure of patients, so prevention is very important. In the experiments, we chose the Wistar white rats aged 1 to 3 days to cultivate myocardial cells, and stimulate the cultured neonatal rat cardiac myocytes with AngⅡ . We extracted DNA to go on agarose gel electrophoresis (DNA ladder), used the AnnexinV-PI double stain flow cytometry to check the rate of apoptosis, and thus the model of myocardial cell apoptosis induced by AngⅡ was established. Basing on it, we chose the Chinese traditional medicines used to supplementing qi and activating blood flow to observe their influence to the myocardial cell apoptosis of suckling rats induced by AngⅡ . The selected medicines included muriatic acid tetramethylpyrazine(standard substance, supplied by institute of materia medica of Chinese acakemy of medical sciences), the effective ingredient of Chuanqiong, and the intravenous injectant type of Danshen and Milkvetch roots, they were respectively used for 4 days at the same time of entering AngⅡ and after entering Ang Ⅱ for 2 days.
