Acupuncture Clinical Research, Pseudobulbar Palsy Tianding Hole Treatment Of Stroke

Objective:To observe the influence of acupuncture Tian' ding points in patients with PSEUDOBULAR PALSY, according to which study the therapeutic mechanism and provide a more effective and practical method and scientific basis on it.Methods:60 cases of patients with PSEUDOBULAR PALSY proved by CT or MRI were randomly divided into 2 groups: the treatment group, comprised 30 patients treated with the acupuncture Tian' ding points; the consulting group, which was composed of 30 cases who were treated with the common acupuncture method. We marked physical signs and tested the Carotid arterial blood stream speed by TCD before and after treatment, then studied the differences.Results:1. There is comparability between the two groups verified by t-test.2. Clinical Evaluation: The markedly effective rate of the acupuncture group was 76.67% and effective rate was 96. 67%. The remarkably improved rate of the consulting group was 40.0% and effective rate was 73.33 %.3. The Changes Of Average Integrals Of Physical Signs: After treatment, as far as average integrals of physical signs were concerned, the marks of two groups decreased; while in those of the treatment group, compared with those of the consulting group ; the marks reduced highly remarkably. As a result, the treatment group was superior to the consulting group.4. The Changes Of the carotid arterial blood stream speed Indexes: After treatment, in both groups, the indexes of Vs,Vm,Vm,Pi were changed. To the extent of the carotid arterial blood stream speed indexes, the treatment group improved higher than the consulting group, and there were significant differences between two groups (P<0.05) according to the statistical analysis. It meant that the treatment group had better function on adjusting the carotid arterial blood stream speed than the consulting group.Conclusion:Both groups can improve average integrals of physical signs and acupuncture Tian' ding point is superior.
