"X不/没有X" positive - negative interrogative sentence is a special type of modern Chinese interrogative sentences. It has once been the hotspot for study and there are notable progress in research. Nevertheless,there are still a lot of problems remained for further study. This thesis has analized and observed the "X不/没有X" positive-negative interrogative sentences by applying the theories of three dimensions and functional grammar. It combines dynamic study with static study,fact discription with theoretical analysis,so as to find out how to conclude and expound the semantic features and pragmatic function of this interrogative sentences.The main study work in it is the following:Part one describes and analyzes the complete form and various abbreviated forms,the syntactic distribution and usage features of the "X TV$ X" positive - negative interrogative sentences .Part two reveal the features of "X,不/没有" in the "X不/没有X" positive - negative interrogative sentences.Part three clarifies the progress that this interrogative sentences' semantic function have changed from strong question to weak question,from inquiring to statement and dictation,Part four discusses three special interrogative sentences ,"X"" "VP ",which are related to the positive - negative interrogative sentences.Part five sums up the content of the preceding four parts.
