"Awaken" is the famous short vernacular collection of short stories in The lateMing,its language achievement is relatively high. Its subject or from folklore, or from thehistory of transfer and the Tang and Song novel, not only reflects the characteristics of thelanguage of the times, but also with the colors of the creation of regional dialects.MingDynasty is in the period of ancient Middle Chinese to Modern Chinese, his language hasthe characteristics of the nexus."Awaken" show corpus, so that we understand the languageof the book’s actual use, can also let us perspective of modern Chinese gradually transitionto the modern Chinese law. This paper selects the "Awaken" in the interrogative as a closedrange, uses qualitative and quantitative research methods, describes from the synchronicand diachronic perspective, studies systematically, and compares with the modern Chinesein order to reveal the late Ming the early Qing Dynasty Chinese interrogative system to thedevelopment and evolution of modern Chinese context.In this paper, the structure is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is anintroduction: Introduce the author of "Awaken", language, version, and the study of historyand current situation.The second and third Chapter introduce especially questions andnon-questions: the interrogative means of expression as a form of sign sub classessummarized analysis of historical evolution, reveal some of the old and the newphenomenon of coexistence.The forth and fifth Chapter introduce the overall situation ofalternative questions and rhetorical questions: describes and statistics of the two types ofinterrogative sentences, analysis of its Order of ancient, medieval Chinese Kaicharacteristics of modern Chinese, displaying the sentence of some local dialect color.Thelase Chapter is the full-text of Conclusion: on the base of interrogative study of "Awaken"makes a summary.
