Wu Fu. Six

After the mid-East Han Dynasty, Han Da Fu (one kind of rhapsody cultivated from Han times to Six Dynasties) Was gradually declining, while Xiao Fu chanting certain object (Object-chanting Fu, another kind of rhapsody). Until Six Dynasties, Object-chanting Fu with various themes and short length, had been a main school in rhapsody. The dissertation can be divided nto four chapters:The first chapter surveys the Object-chanting Fu in Six Dynasties. After comparing the traditional division of the Fu, I subdivide the Objectchanting Fu to three types on which the research is based. They are Fu on Animals, Fu on Plants and Fu on Objects. In my analysis, I focus on those works bearing the writing technique of analogy to express the writer' emotion. By contrast, the works simply chanting the objects are ready involved in my study.The following three chapters make the further discussion on the above three types of the Fu. As to Fu on Animals, the dissertation firstly analyzes how the creation of related to the writer's life and his moral quality from several perspectives which are the token of birds, the keynote of the writer's emotion, the integrity of the person and the object, the interaction between the mood and the scene. Secondly I illustrate the writer's outlook on the life embodied in the Objectchanting Fu by considering the influence of the philosophy trend on the creating of the Fu in Six Dynasties. Thirdly, by analyzing the Fu on the Cicada, I reveal the writer's emotion in it. Finally, taking the background of the era and the writer, I analyze the relationship between the object and the person in the Ironical Fu. As to Fu on Plants, the dissertation takes up the following three parts. The first is the Fu on Grass and Trees, which is compared with writer himself. The second is the Fu mainly indicating the writer's philosophical thinking of the life. With the thid, the erotic works in which Fu on Picking Lotus is the representative one, show the improvement of Object-chanting Fu in the Qi Dynasty and Liang Dynasty. As to Fu on Objects, taking the Fu onZither as the example, I discuss how the new Music Fu in Six Dynasty inherited and developed the traditional ones. Then I focus on the analysis of the Liquor Fu and so on.
