As Self-identity Resources Of Wang Xiaobo

I analyzed different discourse about Wang xiaobo in a new culture context of later 90's in this thesis. By analyzing different opinions from different ages I want to show what discourse and culture resource people use when they identify themselves .Wang xiaobo ,a famous writer ,passed away in 1997,and that arose a hot discussions on him . People exclaimed that they were not expressed while they shouted through media and reveled on market. At the same time ,senior scholars criticized history by discussing Wang xiaobo and narrated a new subject from the history ; middle-aged scholars emphasized the value of Liberty and Independence by explaining Wang xiaobo ,and described the existent system as a solid oppressive one; a young generation grew up in marketing tide in metropolis ,some of them have become middle class and Individual is an important concept for them ,they do what they can to pursue enjoyment and pleasure on market , any struggle for a better society and a better life seems vapid to them .
