NVP is the syndrome that mainly includes nausea, vomit, etc from 6 weeks to 12 weeks of pregnancy. The serious level of NVP has significant individual discrepancy, which normally can be divided into three degrees, that is, slight, medium and serious according to the extent of vomit. More than half of the pregnant women will have different level of NVP in early stage of pregnancy.Up to date, the definite mechanism of NVP is unclear. It is mostly considered that the interaction of physiological factors and psychosocial factors influence the pregnant women's NVP together. Most of the researches about NVP concentrate on physiological factors. The research into psychosocial factors' influence on NVP has been rare. Therefore, we attempt to carry out systematic research on the psychosocial factors' influence on NVP, then to provide theoretical basis of the psychological adjustment and intervention for the pregnant women in early stage. The research is fulfilled in the obstetrical outpatient clinic of two provincial hospitals. 130 pregnant women those are primiparous in 12-16 weeks of pregnancy and received education at least in junior middle school are selected as the research subjects. Among whom, 46 are in slight degree of NVP, 43 medium, 41 serious. The research tools are questionnaires of basic information designed independently, SCL-90, EPQ, SCSQ and SSRS. The workers to fulfill inquiry should use the unified guidance language. Data is statistically analyzed by use of the software SPSS10. 0.The results of this research is as follows:1. The scores of pregnant women who have different level NVP are significantly different, which means the mental health of pregnant womenare worse than normal women.2. According to the questionnaire of basic information, the difference of pregnant women on age, cultural level, body conditions and attitude to baby's sex has different influence on NVP.3. According to the EPQ, when NVP aggravates, the in-extrovert scores of women in early stage of pregnancy significantly reduced, which means their personality tend to be introvert, and the score of mood stability went up apparently, which means instability of mood.4. According to the score of responds, when NVP aggravates, the score of positive responds significantly went up, while the score of negative responds reduced apparently.5. When NVP aggravates, the use of support and the totle support are reduced apparently, but there is no significant difference in subjective support and objective support.6. By Logistic regression analysis, it is found that the stability of mood, positive responds and cultural level are the mainly psychosocial factors that influence the NVP level of pregnant women. In a word, the research hints that the NVP of pregnant women is influenced by some psychosocial factors. We can alleviate the early stage pregnant women's NVP by use of effectively psychological intervention and improve their mental health so as to establish a good foundation for the whole successful pregnancy.
