This essay makes some active studies on the developing tendency of music education curriculum building of normal university of our country inthe new century.This essay consists of two parts.Part one analyses developing characteristics of music education curriculum building of normal university which belongs to different periods from the viewpoint of historical development. At the same time, experience and lessons of studies of music education curriculum building are accumulated.Part two studies the developing tendency of music education curriculum building under the new conditions which includes nurturing goal, designing principles, course construction and types.
